Murder on the Nile... or
Where's My Mummy

October 23 -- December 7, 2006

"Murder on the Nile" (All new!... working title... Sorry Agatha.) Our luckless vacationing family, the Eastmans were on the road again, this time to Cairo, Egypt. Young Sydney having won this trip to meet famed archeologist and adventurer Stanley (Not David!) Livingston. Steeped in the mystery of the 1940s Cairo, the production was rich with reoccurring characters from past shows including Inspector Clouseau and new characters... Among them a malevolent mummy! Fun for the seniors and their families... kind of an Agatha Christie meets the Pink Panther. (Once again!)

It wasn’t cheap with the new set. All the action takes place in a hotel lobby with an Egyptian theme. Plus new music and sound effects which required studio time engineering to produce a new production CD. (As always, we sing live with the pre-recorded music.) Fun, colorful costumes topped it all off! Was it well received?... Wow! The reactions were sensational!
